I am Vicente Asencio, a photographer and Photojournalism student based in Santiago, Chile.
My work focuses on photojournalism, with a particular interest in current affairs, social demonstrations, institutional activity, and the different realities that shape everyday life.
For the past four months, I have worked as a freelance photographer for NurPhoto, covering current events in Santiago while gaining experience in editorial work and producing images for international media outlets and agencies.
I continue to develop my work through press assignments and photographic projects, with the goal of expanding my experience in photojournalism and taking my work toward new stories and environments, both in Chile and abroad.
